As a lively group of seniors with a passion for good company and great deals, our numbers are as flexible as our schedules. Depending on who is currently home or away on their latest adventure, our weekly gathering might range from a cozy table of four to a grand party of fourteen. We keep things simple: one member of the crew checks in with a local spot to scout out the reservation situation, and then the plan is set. By 4:00 PM on Friday, we usually make our way out to catch the best of the happy hour specials. Our mission is straightforward: celebrating the local scene, one establishment at a time.
Moving forward, this blog will serve as our digital scrapbook. We’ll be sharing weekly highlights from our outings, travel logs, and golf outings - everything from reviews of the menu, the best drink deals, snapshots of the friendly staff and, of course, our signature illuminated Happy Hour sign that accompanies us on every trip.

After a round at Arrowhead Golf Club, we visited the 19th hole. I highly recommend this spot even for non-golfers. The golf course view patio and deck are fantastic, the service is efficient, and the food menu is impressively diverse. Just a heads-up: NO HAPPY HOUR!
The Turf Room delivers exceptional service, ambiance, and a vibrant Friday night social scene. The HAPPY HOUR is a standout, featuring Tres Hummus, Margherita pizza, and varied appetizers. With $6 daily rotating beers and $7 wines, it’s truly the ultimate local hotspot for any occasion.
Duke’s Northwoods brings a rustic, Wisconsin-camping vibe to St. Charles. It’s perfect for HAPPY HOUR and classic, Green Bay Packer comfort foods like cheese curds. While the service can be slow and the atmosphere loud, it remains a cozy, authentic Northwoods escape for a fun night out.
